Description

This Norwegian Sea herring is gently smoked over beech wood and lightly spiced with wild garlic. Sild No. 1 Wood-smoked herring with wild garlic is a tribute to the mighty herring and its fundamental role in Nordic food culture. The herrings have a smooth texture and a deep, savoury flavour that wins us over every time. We love them flaked into pasta or salads, spread on rye bread with butter, or blended into dips and pâtés. You won’t believe how beautifully the smokiness and wild garlic come together in such a bold, balanced way.
Is this raw honey?

We don't use the term raw honey for this product as the term 'raw honey' is not permitted by Trading Standards.

However, we feel this is what some people mean when they ask if it's 'raw honey': pure honey, taken from the hive and gently warmed so it can be manually filtered (but never above the temperature of the hive and never pasteurised). We do not mix it with anything else.

After filtering it is processed in an organic processing facility and jarred to perfection. 
Delivery information

Mainland UK delivery is £4.95 for orders under £40, and FREE for orders over £40. Non-mainland UK (Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey) is £10. Orders are sent via Royal Mail or FedEx and arrive in 2–4 working days.
