Rich and flavoursome, every mouthful of our Heather Honey evokes a sense of Scotland’s unspoiled wilderness.
This award-winning pure honey is renowned for its rich flavour and robust health benefits, including antibacterial, antimicrobial properties, and high levels of antioxidants. With ten times more manganese than any other honey in the world, this is a great choice for your health.
Sourced directly from the breath-taking Scottish moors, this superfood honey is harvested during the short, intense six-week heather season, ensuring its rare quality.
Indulge in nature's finest luxury, where rare meets natural, and each jar supports a sustainable future. Perfect for porridge, smoothies, yoghurt, or simply spread onto toast for a touch of luxury.
Is this raw honey?
We don't use the term raw honey for this product as the term 'raw honey' is not permitted by Trading Standards.
However, we feel this is what some people mean when they ask if it's 'raw honey': pure honey, taken from the hive and gently warmed so it can be manually filtered (but never above the temperature of the hive and never pasteurised). We do not mix it with anything else.
After filtering it is processed in an organic processing facility and jarred to perfection.

I have been buying honey from the Scottish Bee Company for a few years now and truly love the taste. The heather honey is my favourite and it reminds me of my childhood ( early 60’s ) as my dad was a beekeeper, as a hobby. This was clover honey and up until I tasted heather honey, it was my favourite. I typically buy the 6 pack jars and have even given some to family/friends…reluctantly. It is nice to know that what I am paying for is pure honey that has not been adulterated. I have known the benefits of honey for many years and I will continue to have some in my diet. The taste of this heather honey is amazing and I will continue to support this company because they do things right and are conscientious about packaging, donating money to a pollination project and as far as I am concerned, they have their heads in the right place. Keep up the good work for it is noticed and appreciated.
Dear Richard
Thank you for your kind review of our Heather Honey 6 pack. We are delighted to hear that you have been enjoying our honey for several years now and that it brings back fond memories of your childhood. It means a lot to us that our honey is your preferred choice, especially since your father was also a beekeeper.

We will continue to strive for excellence in our products and practices, and we hope to keep providing you with the same great taste of heather honey that you love. Thank you for being a valued customer.
Best regards,
Izzy
Customer Service at the Scottish Bee Company
It has a powerful floral flavour and you know it’s doing you good!
I have been buying this honey for a few years now and find that it has remained consistently great. It does not have the excessively sweet taste of some supermarket brand premium honey. I use it not just for tea time but also in smoothies. And because of its health benefits, it has become one of my default gifts to family and friends. The only thing I wish Scottish Bee Company can do is find a way to bring down the cost of buying multiples a bit more so I can keep gifting, otherwise I might have to be quite selfish with my honey going forward 🤣.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're so glad to hear that you have been enjoying our Heather Honey for a few years now and that it has remained consistently great for you. We always strive to provide high-quality and delicious honey to our customers. We appreciate your feedback about the cost of buying multiples and will definitely keep it in mind for the future. Thank you for being a loyal customer and for gifting our honey to your loved ones. We hope you continue to enjoy our honey in your tea and smoothies. Have a sweet day!
I had never heard of the Scottish bee company before, I saw an advert on YouTube and I thought I'd give it a go.I ordered the Scottish heather honey,it's a thick consistency not what I was expecting because I wanted it to make honey garlic and you need a runnier consistency,so I'll have to order another from the range.I have a heaped teaspoon of the heather honey daily it's absolutely gorgeous I will definitely be ordering again
