Our Spiced Apple and Bramble Shrub makes the perfect winter drink. It can be mixed with hot water or added to a Hot Toddy. Or try with a gin and tonic or a whisky sours. The vinegar in the shrub will give a tangy taste. 250ml.
Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar, Sugar, Apples, Blackberries, Fresh Root Ginger, Cinnamon, Cloves
Combine the shrub, water, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a suacepan. Stir and allow to simmer, until reduced down to a thick consistency. Remove from the heat and cover, for 10 minutes. Strain out all of the solids, then stir the lemon juice and bourbon. This should make enough for 6 mugs - garnish with a slice of apple!
